Families contact ECC
When prospective parents contact the agency looking for child care, the coordinator will recommend programs according to the family's needs, children's age, development requirements, and location.
Parents
Our day home educators, as their own self-employed business owners, are encouraged and welcomed to interview and place children in their programs using their own advertising and interview methods. ECC recognizes that child care is not a one-size-fits-all situation and that families and educators have choices to pick the best fit for their family needs.
When prospective parents contact the agency looking for child care, the coordinator will recommend programs according to the family's needs, children's age, development requirements, and location.
During the interview process and enrollment, the educator will provide parents with information about their educator profile, complaint history and solutions, dayhome philosophy, back-up care concerns, hours of service, and vacation time.
When both the educator and family decide to move forward, the educator will contact the agency to inform us of the decision and provide a timeline for when enrollment information can be expected in the system.
The agency provides the registration form, parent enrollment form, parent handbook, and information about affordable grants during enrollment. This is completed through Procare, our secure site.
